WOW .. I can't believe it's been a little over a week since I did an update. Well, actually I can. I don't get online from home much and with the Holiday and bad weather we had, I wasn't at work much last week.
My weight results are over on the right. They don't look so pretty do they? I've had some ups & downs over the past week and FINALLY, today, a little lower that my weight LAST SATURDAY. That's 10 days! Ouch!!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday! Off to check out pages!

ARGH! So basically I'm right back to where I was on Saturday. This weekend was super busy and I know that I didn't eat (maybe enough?) at specific times and I know that my water intake was WAY OFF! I'm noticing that if I don't get my water in, then I'm not seeing good results the next day.
Work in progress............ 'Nuff said.

Last night I did the 1st day of the C25k program! Holy crap did that kick my butt! I did my 1st day with a little bit of modification :( I wasn't able to run the last set, so I walked at a fast(er) pace instead. My walking was at 3.5 and my running was between 4-4.5. Cool down was at 3.0 and last 1 minute at 2.5. I'm guessing that's still on the "slow" side, but I will work it up in time. I'll probably do R1 2x. Goal is to do a 5k this spring with my coworker! We are both really excited. BUT I did notice that when I ran, my butt didn't bounce! lol Before, when I would run I could feel everything in the back shake up & down!
Busy weekend ahead, so my plan is to preplan all my meals and keep something on hand incase something unexpected comes up. Because if it didn't, it wouldn't be a normal weekend!

YAY for no Mini-Plateau! Today is my day 23 and my 21st injection (skipped 2 days with TOM). I can't help but keep thinking "Ya know? Today COULD be your last injection day! And you could enjoy Thanksgiving just a LITTLE more!" Argh.. I can't get that out of my head!!! But my goal is to make it another 23 days on Phase 2!! That means I will probably be doing a total of 49 days (21 injections x2, take 4 days off w/TOM, 3 days VLCD after last injection).
Yesterday I looked up all the rewards for losing 10%!! The Mr is probably really excited about #7 and my kids are probably really excited about #1! I used to be SO exhaused by 6-7:00 pm that I wouldn't be able to do anything "fun" with them!
10. Better blood pressure
9. Improved heart health and lower cholesterol levels
8. Decreased risk for diabetes
7. Enhanced sex life
6. A better night’s sleep for those with obstructive sleep apnea
5. Less pain associated with arthritis, joint disease, and lower back pain.
4. Better breathing
3. Decreased risk for colon and breast cancer
2. A healthier gallbladder
1. More energy

Well, at least it wasn't a gain! My water intake yesterday was good. My eating was good until Dinner. Tuesday is my busiest day anyways, but add that I'm doing everything alone and it's just plain crazy! I didn't take any meat out of the freezer so I was a little stuck on what to eat. I picked up my oldest from work and we went to Del Taco (had an hour to kill before picking up my son) and I ordered a Chicken Taco Del Carbon and only ate the chicken/onions/cilantro. This morning I made sure to take out some meat!!
Hope it was the eating out and not the start of a mini-plateau!

I'm SOOOO excited to hit the first goal that I set for myself! I've lost 10% of my weight since starting on 10/19/10! When I was with Weight Watchers, it took me 12 weeks to hit my 10%! I now have 6.7 lbs to go to hit my 2nd Goal, 1'der Land!!!
Last night I made the family Soup & Grilled Cheese Sandwiches. Grilled Cheese is my Comfort Food!!! It didn't even "look" good to me last night. What's up with that? ;) And even tho I'm on Day 21, I'm still not craving Sugar! I hope this continues since I made the decision to do a 42 day round!
From my doctors appointment on Saturday I lost another 2.75 inches. So my total is -6 1/4 inches so far. I can't wait for the hips/thighs/waist #'s to drop more!!
Thighs -.5" / Hips -.5" / Waist -.5" / Chest -.25" / Neck -.5" / Arm -Same = -2 3/4

This weekend was absolutely bananas! The Mr had knee surgery on Friday so my whole day was off schedule.. as well as Saturday & Sunday. I never ate 'off plan', but I didn't stay on plan either as far as when I ate and how much. If anything, I under ate. My water intake was off too :(
But everything is back on track today and hopefully I'll have atlease a -.8 loss tomorrow am! I'm SOOOO close to my first goal of 10%!
I had a doctor appointment on Saturday and lost some more inches, I'll have to post those tomorrow. I've decided to do another 21 days of injections which will put my R1P2 to 42 days! I think that I can do it.. and my physician is behind me!
Another thing is that my TOM lasted FOREVER! Ok.. not forever, but 2 extra days sure felt like forever! I asked my doc and she said that was probably normal with the HCG. Hopefully next month will be normal.

I hit my first 20 pounds lost (phase 1 til now)! 2.2 left until my 1st goal!
Today is the Mr's surgery so I'm planning ahead for my meals. We'll see how this works. Doctor appt tomorrow to see my results and decide if I want to continue this round for another 21 days.

I already know I didn't drink enough water yesterday. I'm usually really good about my water at work, and then when I get home and busy I tend to slack a bit. That's my goal today, to drink all my water.
SO.. Last night when I got home, the Mr had a gift for me :) I was so excited! My current iPod is probably one of the original iPod Videos and it's been giving me problems for a long time. Today I've been downloading all kinds of apps! Anyone have some favorites to share? Seeing how the Mr is having surgery tomorrow, I will have a bunch of time to browse the app store. I'm already planning on taking a book, but apps seem much more fun!

Last night I made lasagna for the family and ALMOST cheated! The smells were wonderful! I was packaging up the leftovers into single serving tupperware for the kids and there was just a small portion that didn't fit, maybe 2 bites worth of gooey goodness......and it was so tempting! But I didn't do it. :)
I did good yesterday with no injection and staying on the VLCD. No hunger pangs.
Not much else going on today. Getting things cleaned up at work because I'm off on Friday. The Mr is having (another) knee surgery.

Really wasn't expecting that # on day 2 of TOM, but it feels good after a gain yesterday.
Last night I walked again while "Little Mama" has soccer practice. But it was nowhere as beautiful as it was last week. With daylights savings, it was extra dark on the back loop and the leaves made the pavement kinda slippery. There were 2 women walking as well, and as soon as they left, I started jogging the back loop and walking the front loop (more light because of the lighted field). I was actually quite pleased with myself for jogging! It wasn't planned so next time I will remember to wear a sports bra!!
This morning I can feel a difference in my "baby roll"... Or is it a "pre-teen roll" since my "baby" is almost 12??? Anyhoo... That is another great feeling!

I did a whole update on Friday (Day 10)! I decided to download an app on my phone for blogger, and accidently deleted my post!
Had an amazing weekend with my family. Not feeling so well today, definitely because to TOM! I did do an injection this morning, but will hold the next 2 and start again on Thursday. Hope I can get back on track! I have not cheated ONCE this entire process!
Good News! Had my doctor appointment on Saturday and she seemed happy with my results so far! Had my measurements done and I've lost a total of 4 inches since 10/26 (day before I started my injections).
Thighs -1" / Hips - 1" / Waist - 1" / Chest - 1/2" / Neck - 1/4" / Arm - 1/4"
I packed my lunch for today being Shrimp w/Cabbage and an apple. After this lunch, I plan on cutting Cabbage out of my routine for the week to see if that has anything to do with any of my small losses! I'm starting to notice a trend when eating cabbage and have read where other people have this struggle as well. We'll see!

A loss, and I'll take it!!
Last night I actually was able to walk while my daughter had soccer practice. There is a beautiful loop behind the soccer field that I had NO CLUE about. I was just going to walk the perimeter of the field, but it was wet & mushy. The farther I got around the field I saw the paved trail. I took a few pics (below) and it was very nice. I walked about 45 minutes until the water took over me and I had to run to Dairy Queen to use the restroom!
Yesterday I had to adjust my rear view mirrow, which I thought was odd. I've never had to adjust it. So I'm thinking I'm starting to lose my boo-tay! ;) Maybe I wasn't sitting as "high" as I usually do.

Today I am NOT having any Melba Toast and making sure I get my water in (not that I haven't been). My focus today is not to get frusterated with a .4 loss on Day 8! My thought is my body is saying, "Slow down girlfriend, let me catch up to you!"
Funny thing is, when I woke up this am I didn't "feel" like I had a loss coming. Every other day I "felt" it. My cycle is due to come on Sunday (there's an app for that :) ) so I usually start feeling bloated about now. I'm just going to stay focused and push thru this!

*pat on the back* I'm really proud of myself today. We had a DRLunch today and they brought Panera Bread Sandwiches, which are my ULTIMATE FAVORITE! They also brought amazingly good cookies and soda. None of which I even thought about while I ate my pre-made lunch. OK.. I lied.. I thought about them, but didn't cave!! I know today is only D7, but I can honestly say I've NEVER gone this long w/out cheating.
So, yesterday I was almost kinda bummed about my .8 loss. I've been reading blogs and seeing stats of CRAZY numbers the first 5-7 days. Like double digit #'s and was feeling a little jealous. But I had to remind myself that never have I been on a "diet" to where I have lost this amount of weight in this amount of time. I did lose 6lbs in 1 week at weight watchers, but I had gone from full load to WW in 1 day. Starting this HCG "diet", I cut out sugar & carbs (for the most part) about 10 days before injections (and lost 6lbs on my own). The major thing I gave up was Mountain Dew!! OMGoodness.. my liquid crack! Don't even miss it.
I just looked up the food nutrition online and found that my lunch today (and it would have been normal for me to eat this) would have been 1,095 calories!! JUST FOR LUNCH! That's 1/2 sandwich, 1 cookie & soda. YIKES!

NORMALLY between Mon - Thurs I'm all good... Come the weekend, I lose all motivation and commitment. Not this weekend baby! ;)
Friday night I planned & prepared my meals for the entire weekend because I KNEW it was going to be a busy one!!
Saturday I was out of the house literally ALL day / night until 10:00pm. My "little mama" had a soccer game about 2 hours from home. I was able to eat my lunch before we left. She also had a Halloween Party that same evening and I was able to eat my dinner before we got there. I was SOOOO proud of myself. The food was SO tempting and smelled WONDERFUL! I passed up Meatballs covered in BBQ Sauce and Alfredo Sauce, Cheese Dip w/Chips, Fried Chicken, Spaghetti, Cookies, Cheese Cakes, Doughnut Holes, Veggie Tray (that didn't include veggies I could eat) and and and and and.. The list goes on!! I was also able to pass up on a drink here and there! I left the party feeling very proud!
Sunday we were, again, out of the house again for soccer tournament. This time the game was in the middle of my lunch. I packed my lunch and ate in my car while "little mama" warmed up. We went straight from there to have lunch with my "oldest daughter" on her lunch-break. Off to Trader Joes for groceries and rushed back home to get "little mama" ready for Trick -or- Treating with her teammates. I did not plan on staying as late as we did so I completely missed Dinner :( I didn't feel hungry nor did I get any hunger related headaches or tummy growls. I didn't cheat on snacking (all the left overs from the party Saturday were brought to the house Sunday!) or sneaking any of her Halloween Candy! Nor did I walk around with Hot Chocolate, as the other parents did.
I knew there wouldn't be a great loss this am because I missed dinner. I woke to a .80 loss. Hoping I can get back to a greater loss tomorrow.
